Sick to My Stomach

I still cannot wrap my head around what is going on in this country...and the world. The fact that our government let people die in New Orleans and is now pointing fingers and trying to simply push this under the rug (no pictures of dead bodies, etc.)--is appalling. And then to add the fact that Gov Arnold today so quickly vetoed the gay marriage bill is despicable. It's all politics and as citizens--we have fewer rights than ever. Pandering to the right isn't just that anymore...It's now filled with clear evil and hate. I don't know. I'm rambling because I'm just so confused and angry and sad.
